Reinforced Actuators of Longitudinal Type PPU-1 … PPU-8
A reinforced actuator of longitudinal type consists of a number of piezo
stacks joined by soldering, and reinforced by a stud or by a case with the prestress of
250 ± 30 kg. This design ensures a super precise displacement. The important feature of
actuators is their ability to perform continuous movements both under compression and
stretching conditions.
APPLICATIONS
High-quality, reliable actuators are designed for micro positioning,
vibration control, generating important forces. These actuators can be used in
the following equipment:
automatic devices for precise dosing of liquids and gases;
precise metal-cutting machines;
precise mask alignment in photo and X-ray lithography;
medical equipment (precise movement of tools in the course of micro
surgical operations);
alignment of magnetic sections in accelerators of elementary particles;
micro displacement stands for optical and electronic microscopy
(gas analyzer-dosimeter control);
laser technique and adaptive optical systems;
fuel injection control in internal combustion and Diesel engines
Piezo drivers PPU-1, PPU-2, PPU-8 are reinforced by a stub.
Piezo drivers PPU-3, PPU-4, PPU-5, PPU-6 are reinforced by a case (slit spring).
Reinforcement: - 250 ± 30 kg.
