Compact Piezoceramic Seismic Sensor SD-2E

The SD-2E seismic sensor is structurally designed as a dust- and moisture-protected enclosure containing a sensitive piezoceramic element and electronic units for preliminary signal processing.

The output signal is analog and allows connection to both a conventional load and a twisted pair.

The sensor is installed on load-bearing structures of buildings, bridges, tunnels, metro facilities, various moving objects, protected perimeters, etc.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

• As primary transducers in seismic and vibration measurement systems and complexes;
• As a threshold vibration level sensor of building foundations for blocking gas supply to boiler houses and in other similar systems;
• Building, metro, and other monitoring systems;
• Perimeter security systems protecting facilities from unauthorized access (nuclear power plants, overpasses, gas pipelines, power transmission lines, etc.);
• Navigation and positioning systems (unmanned underwater vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, etc.).
